HEY wassup, I’m Santiago Alf 🙂 originally from Cancun Mexico, I was born August 23rd 2003, fresh 2000’s dude… I would describe my music as diverse, catchy, groovy and layered meaning, there are songs that came from random fake scenarios, in “This is not Santiago Alf – Party Music” I talk about Wannabes and a drunk dude trying to hit on a girl at a party. Clearly, that’s not how I would behave lol. But there are other songs that belong to a different category.
BIOGRAPHY MUSIC
I do have real songs, songs about fresh emotions literally there are songs hours apart from the event that made me feel some way. Often these are found in albums with my age “17” “18” “20” “21”, but to be clear, album with number ≠the whole album is “real events” there are some fake scenario songs in those albums as well, and that’s because the main reason is not to portray literal images of me, is to portray a vibe of me and that vibe is influenced by who I am in that moment, in that year.
Before Pensamiento Firme, there was a song whose name only the true OGs know. However, Pensamiento Firme was the first serious work of my artistic journey.
Because of that, in later works I decided to incorporate the melody from its chorus—either through vocals or instruments—as a way to always remember the first catchy, original melody I ever created.
